Begin the trek from Momella Gate, passing through a lush forest with a chance to spot wildlife like colobus monkeys. Reach Miriakamba Hut (2,514 meters) for the first night's rest.
Ascend to Saddle Hut (3,570 meters) through heather and moorland. Enjoy stunning views of the crater and Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days.
Start early to summit Little Meru (3,820 meters) for a breathtaking sunrise view. Descend to Saddle Hut, rest, then proceed to Miriakamba Hut for the night.
Descend to Momella Gate, where the climb concludes. Celebrate the accomplishment and reminisce about the magnificent landscapes and wildlife encountered.
